ABOUT
Our Practice
Drs. Mark & Allison Royer are board-certified comprehensive Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgeons (also known as Ears, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeons). We provide a wide variety of services for all ages including ear tubes, endoscopic sinus surgery, in office balloon sinus dilation, neck and throat cancer surgery, ear surgery and voice surgery.
As parents to young children, we are very aware of how difficult it can be to have children suffering from ear, nose and throat problems as well as the anxiety associated with having them undergo surgery. We will work with you to make sure you understand all options and maximize medical treatment prior to recommending surgery.
Our goal is to provide outstanding patient care through communication and up to date medical training. We are both board certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology, participate in Maintenance of Certification, and continue to contribute to our field through participation in the American Academy of Otolarynolgoy-Head & Neck Surgery and research/publications (Read Dr. Mark's here & Dr. Allison's here).

Our Doctors
Allison K. Royer, MD
Dr. Allison is an Indiana native who was raised in Evansville, IN and obtained her undergraduate degree Purdue University and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. She was the valedictorian of her medical school class. She attended residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. Her practice specializes in pediatrics and otology. She has been practicing in Columbus, IN since 2014.
She enjoys spending time with Mark and their children hiking in brown county, biking and travelling.
Mark C. Royer, MD
Dr. Mark is an Indiana native who was raised in South Bend, IN and obtained his undergraduate degree from Indiana University South Bend and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He attended residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. His practice specializes in chronic sinus disease treatment (performing in office balloon sinus dilation since 2012) and surgical management of thyroid disease (recently completed additional training in minimally envasive endoscopic transoral thyroidectomy).
Dr. Mark is a huge fan of brown county state park and can frequently be found hiking or biking with Allie and their kids. He enjoys wilderness medicine and recently completed the coursework to become a fellow in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine.
The Royers have been practicing since 2014 and have particular expertise in minimally invasive sinus surgery, pediatric otolaryngology, and otology. Our clinic is located at 706 N Burkhardt Rd.
